Whiskey Board- Torched Black – Shou Sugi Ban

This one-of-a-kind whiskey board is hand-made in Kansas. Each piece is kiln dried 100% hardwood with high-quality epoxy resin. This board is unique and to be passed down for generations. We have applied Odie’s Oil and wax to seal the wood. This flight board holds up to 12 sampling glasses. It comes with our signature laser engraved buffalo and embedded 40 cal ammunition shell. Handles are high-quality, custom, hand-forged iron.

This style board has been charred in the Japanese tradition of Shou sugi Ban. Suyaki is the most traditional and easily recognizable of our yakisugi “shou sugi ban” products. Due to the thick, hydrophobic, UV-inhibiting soot layer, Suyaki has the best wood and color longevity as well as incredible fire resistance. We applied a top layer of clear epoxy to solidify the soot layer, minimizing blemishes, and preventing soot from coming off when touched.

Do not let this board sit in water and do not put it in the dishwasher. Re-apply sealer every few months with Odie’s Wax or Howard Butcher Block Conditioner.

Our whiskey boards are approximately 24″ long x 14″ wide x 1″ thick and weigh 4 lbs. These dimensions vary in size as each is custom-made.
